ELDOA 1&2 Combination

Program Overview

  • ELDOA1&2 Combination covers all the levels of the spine from Cervical C2/C3 through to Lumbar L5/S1

  • The course begins with an overview of basic descriptive anatomy and biomechanics of the spine based on Kapanji’s Physiology of the Joints texts.

  • Factors of Progression, the role of fascia, spinal disc imbibition, the role of water in the body and program design are among topics discussed

  • 80% of the course is practical - in groups, with partners, as coach/teacher, to learn how to best teach the ELDOA postures and to integrate the method into your own body

  • The course is beneficial for anyone interested in learning about ELDOA: wellness and athletic coaches, trainers, RMTs, movement instructors, Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, ELDOA students, and others.

  • Certificate upon completion: ELDOA™Student Practitioner

ELDOA 1

Program Overview

Designed for the student & practitioner with no formal training in the anatomy and biomechanics of the spine, ELDOA 1 is the prerequisite for all other levels.

A significant amount of time in this course is devoted to the practical application of the 4 classic ELDOA™ of the spine (C4/5, T6/7, T8/9 + L5/S1).

It is designed for participants to gain a basic understanding of the anatomy and biomechanics of the spine and to build confidence in applying and teaching the most frequently used ELDOA exercises with proper form and technique.

The course is beneficial for anyone interested in learning about ELDOA: wellness and athletic coaches, trainers, RMTs, movement instructors, Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, ELDOA students, and others.

ELDOA 2

Program Overview

Spinal Levels C2/3 to L5/S1

Topics

  • The ELDOA taught in this course include the levels for the spine C2/3 to L5/S1.

  • The first day is a review of ELDOA1, day two and three ELDOAs C2/3 - L5/S1 and an expansion on many of the topics from ELDOA 1 such as classic spine biomechanics, descriptive anatomy, water imbibition, the role of water in the body and program design and more!

  • Pre-requisite: ELDOA1

ELDOA 3

Program Overview

  • The focus of ELDOA3 is the peripheral joints - ELDOA™ for all the ribs (ribcage and sternum); coxo-femoral joints; and the shoulder complex;

  • The course begins with a review of the spine ELDOAs from ELDOA1 and 2

  • The anatomy is the classic descriptive anatomy of the spine, ribs, shoulder and hips.

  • The biomechanics and descriptive anatomy are based on Kapanji’s Physiology of the Joints texts.

  • Factors of Progression, fascia overview, are part of various topics.

  • Pre-requisite: ELDOA 2 in the comprehensive certification program
